Shooglenifty have been one of Scotland’s greatest musical exports since 1994. The “Acid Croft” Pioneers have swept the globe with their infectious mix of traditional tunes and intense dance grooves, performing in India, Australia, Borneo, Spain, Mexico, and a great many other places.

I have worked with the band a number of times. This film was to Launch the Band’s 9th Studio Album “Acid Croft Vol. 9” It features a live set shot in a barn in Balquidder in Scotland plus interviews.

I have done a great many films for Skipinnish over the past 3 years and this is one of the performance highlight reels I created for the band when they performed at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh in 2019.

Duncan Lyall is one of Scotland’s most in demand musicians and producers. He is also a popular session bass player who has performed with many top acts including Kate Rusby, Treacherous Orchestra, Croft No. Five, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Vince Mendoza, and Peter Erskine.

Duncan Brought me in to create this short film to launch his incredible “Milestone” Project. Music composed by Duncan that features some of the top players in Scotland.

Cask Strength Ceilidh Band are one of the hottest Ceilidh Bands in Scotland that includes some of the best players on the Scottish Folk Music Scene. I created this promo film for them which I feel very much tells the story of the classic Ceilidh Dance and how the band are at the forefront of their game.
